Mark A. Mehler is a highly accomplished coach and former wrestler, with a career spanning over five decades. In 1971, he became the NBIL (NJ) conference champion in the 157 lbs weight class, as well as the district champion and a regional place winner in the same weight class. The following year, he became a freshman starter at NYU.
